Crete Library Shows Support for Imagination Library

The Crete Public Library District and the Friends of the Crete Public Library have generously donated to Imagination Library of Will County, showing significant support to bring the free, gift-giving program to Will County.

County Executive Jennifer Bertino-Tarrant presented to the Crete Pubic Library District Board on April 16, sharing opportunities for the library to serve as a long-term partner for the literacy initiative. After the presentation, the board presented a $1,500 check for Imagination Library. The Friends of the Crete Public Library organization also showed their support, presenting a $2,000 check. These generous donations will help bring this transformative literacy initiative to Will County, mailing free books to children aged 0-5.

Thank you to the Crete Public Library District and the Friends of the Crete Public Library for your support and leadership!
